BORDER CONNECTIONS
Utilizing a mixture or Public and Private Interconnections, GlobalNAPs is continually analyzing and enhancing its connectivity to the Internet at Large.
Connections are established through dedicated Border Routers which maintain direct connections to all Access Routers and Other Border Routers. In this way traffic is directed in the most efficient manner without needless latency or added "hops". Further, in the event of a network outage, route table convergence occurs instantaneously, not in minutes or quarter hours as is the case in many other networks.
