Founded in 1998 as an adjunct and sister to the successful CLEC Global NAPs Inc., Global NAPs Networks has a single purpose:
to deliver the highest Quality Internet and Leased Data Services at the most competitive market rates and in the shortest install intervals.
By leveraging the National Fiber Optic Backbone of its affiliate, intercity bandwidth begins at the OC-48 level and has no appreciable upper limit.
In addition to the 13 Hub Cities served by GlobalNAPs Networks, over 60 additional non-Hub markets are “on-net” connecting many areas of the U.S. overlooked by the other National Carriers.
Most Recently (July 2001) Global NAPs acquired the extensive peering relationships and Network Access connections of McLean, VA based ServInt Internet Services Inc positioning GlobalNAPs Networks as a true Tier-1 national backbone.
